Dimitar Berbatov has been linked with a move to Manchester United all summer, but now Manchester City have stepped up with a last-minute offer for the Bulgarian international.
City Boss Mark Hughes has told Sky Sports News: “We have made an offer, I think it’s been agreed between ourselves and Tottenham, and it’s really about the boy making a decision. I‘m as stunned and excited by this as the fans are”.
Tottenham manager Juande Ramos has left out Berbatov in the last two matches and it seems more than likely Berbatov will be leaving White Hart Lane soon.
Berbatov is set to cost the buyer around £30 million.
