Daniel Agger joined Liverpool in January 2006 for a fee of £5 million making him the most expensive export in Danish football history. In 2004 Daniel Agger was named Talent of the Year which he retained the year after. Former Liverpool player and fellow Dane Jan Molby named him the biggest defensive talent in Danish history and Agger soon proved his abilities on the pitch.
