Therefore, big names like Zambrotta, Ronaldinho and Shevchenko were signed in the summer break to secure success in this season.

In spite of the new signings, Milan had an embarrassing Serie A start with a 1 – 2 loss to Bologna last weekend. This weekend Milan travelled to Genoa to secure their first league win this season.

But, it wasn’t their day!

Zidane is the most expensive player in the history of football. Real Madrid purchased him in 2001 for £46 million.

Zidane has won the FIFA World Player of the Year three times and he truly is one of the best ever midfield playmakers.
