Last season AC Milan failed to win a title and they did not qualify for this season’s Champions League. Therefore, big names like Zambrotta, Ronaldinho and Shevchenko were signed in the summer break to secure success in this season.
In spite of the new signings, Milan had an embarrassing Serie A start with a 1 – 2 loss to Bologna last weekend. This weekend Milan travelled to Genoa to secure their first league win this season.
But, it wasn’t their day!

Zinedine Yazid Zidane was born 23 June 1972 in Marseille France. He was part of the French National Team which won the 1998 FIFA World Cup and 2000 European Championship.
He has played for big clubs like Real Madrid and Juventus winning both the Serie A and the Spanish first division. In 2001 he scored the winning goal in Real Madrid’s 2 – 1 winner in the UEFA champions League against Bayer Leverkusen.
Zidane is the most expensive player in the history of football. Real Madrid purchased him in 2001 for £46 million.
Zidane has won the FIFA World Player of the Year three times and he truly is one of the best ever midfield playmakers.
