In 2005 Liverpool won the UEFA Champions League final in breathe-taking match against AC Milan in Istanbul. In the half-time break Liverpool were down 0 - 3 to a well-playing AC Milan team. In secund half Liverpool came back and the score was 3 - 3 after 90 minutes.

No goals were scored in extra time and it went to penalties. Jerzy Dudek demosrated brilliant goalkeeping and Liverpool took the trophy after one of the best Champions League Finals in history.
